The Wellbeing & Dignity Partnership
The Wellbeing & Dignity Partnership is the umbrella name for a unique project that brings patients/service users and a range of agencies together with Let’s Link.
Currently being piloted at the Department of Psychiatry unit in Epsom, we are providing patients admitted to hospital with courtesy packs of lovely toiletries and ‘get well’ messages of hope and recovery in a specially designed leaflet.
If successful, the project will be developed and promoted to NHS mental health trusts as part of their Quality, dignity and privacy standards programmes and targets.
The pilot has been made possible through funding from Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and match funding from Let’s Link.
The Wellbeing & Dignity Partnership includes patients, service users and representatives from statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
Stop Press:
Due to Let’s Link being awarded a Comic Relief grant, we are able to enhance the pilot by developing and producing leaving hospital information packs for people returning home and into the community.
