Women’s Wellbeing Days
Over the past few years, Let’s Link has held free women’s wellbeing days in venues in Surrey.
We offer women of all ages and backgrounds including BME communities and particularly those who suffer mental ill health, plus carers, a day of relaxation in a safe and welcoming environment.
Women benefit from calming and stress busting complementary therapies such as Indian Head Massage, provided by Holistic Harmony. A nice lunch is provided (including specially prepared food and demonstrations at some venues). plenty of refreshments are provided and women enjoy getting together with friends and meeting new friends.
Therapy training and skills share
As a development of our wellbeing days, Let’s Link is working with Holistic Harmony, the complementary therapies provider, headed by Kate and accredited trainer, Shirley O’Donoghue, to offer women the chance to train as a complementary therapist.
Over four days initially, trainees will learn to give and receive an Indian Head Massage and find out about other complementary therapy techniques.
They will then be competent to share their skills with peer groups or, under supervision, at a wellbeing day or other community event.
We are currently applying for funding to make these training opportunities bigger and better.
